Mauricio Zamora is an entrepreneur and senior software industry executive with two decades experience delivering software using agile principles and practices. He has repeatedly succeeded in building dynamic technology organizations that are rich with talent, on the leading edge of development and remarkably swift to respond to changing client and market demands and opportunities.
Mauricio has led numerous large scale and mission critical product management and software development efforts at companies such as Telution, LLC. and CSG International, Inc. His passion and ability to help companies leverage agile principles and practices to deliver higher value software while also greatly improving their culture is the driving reason for why Mauricio founded Innate Agility Consulting, LLC.
Mauricio’s agile experience is based on several years of hands-on agile execution and leadership. Early on in his career, he led numerous high performing teams as a dedicated Scrum Master and Product Owner. For the past decade, Mauricio’s focus has been on leading large engineering organizations leveraging agile principles and practices that scale to the enterprise level. As Cofounder, Chief Architect and VP of Engineering at Telution, he leveraged agile to lead an organization of 60+ development resources.
While at CSG International, Mauricio led the shift towards enterprise scale agility for a development organization that today exceeds 600+ engineering resources. Within the first year of the transformation, CSG had over 140 development resources executing in parallel two week iterations on their flagship integrated product suite. CSG’s ability to embrace agile practices and principles has greatly improved their ability to deliver higher value software in a more time to market fashion.
In addition to product based software development expertise, Mauricio also has several years of experience applying agile practices and principles to technology based, client facing consulting engagements. Similar to internal product development results, CSG’s ability to deliver successful consulting engagements in a more transparent and client aligned manner also improved greatly.
